Vagabond PI

From the swamps of Kudzu to the coast of Elson, something dark is happening.  As a member of the Vagabonds, it is your job to solve these mysteries.

Story:

The game begins with two Vagabonds arriving at the ghost town of Elson.  After a conversation with the only remaining inhabitants, the mayor and a young boy, the Vagabonds set off on a journey to solve the curse of Elson and return it to its former glory.  Along the way they will find themselves embroiled in a sinister plot involving ancient voodoo and powers beyond human comprehension.   Despite having cute pixel art characters, VPI will guide players through dark stories where there is often no right answer (unless the answer is tacos, tacos are always right).  

Concept:

Vagabond PI is 2d game that mixes elements of sandbox and open world adventure.    VPI's gameplay is a crazy mashup of titles like Animal Crossing & Red Dead Redemption 2. 

Gameplay:

From the start of the game you will be tasked with rebuilding a port city.  In order to acquire funds you will have to explore the world and complete side quests or sell items you find/craft along the way.  In VPI you can hunt, fish, or gather to acquire resources for your journeys.  Crafting is in place as an optional system to create consumable items, but will not be required to complete parts of the game.
